WASHINGTON, D.C. – Based on his conservative voting record during the 116th Congress, the American Conservative Union Foundation (ACUF) has awarded Congressman James Comer with their “Award for Conservative Excellence.”

Based on the organization’s analysis of congressional votes in 2019, Comer received a 90% rating for his voting record in support of conservative values. ACUF’s Center for Legislative Accountability researches and selects a range of bills to evaluate a member’s adherence to conservative principles on a 100-point scale.

“I am honored to be recognized as a conservative champion by the American Conservative Union Foundation for my work to advance conservative values in Congress,” Congressman Comer said. “Moving forward, it is critically important for Congress to work with President Trump to create jobs through conservative economic policies, fend off attacks on our constitutional freedoms, and steadfastly defend the Second Amendment and religious liberty.”
