WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Comer was recognized by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) - the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization - with the organization’s Guardian of Small Business Award. This is NFIB’s most prestigious honor bestowed on members of Congress in recognition of their efforts to support small business issues.

Congressman Comer scored a 100% on key small business votes in the 115th Congress (2017-18), executing on legislation that relieves financial pressure on small businesses and enables them to grow and to create jobs. “I am very proud to stand for free enterprise and meaningful reforms in Congress to help small businesses grow and thrive,” Congressman Comer said.

“The NFIB Guardian of Small Business Award is presented to Members of Congress who truly vote as champions of small business,” NFIB President and CEO Juanita D. Duggan said. “Those who earn this recognition in the House of Representatives have been staunch supporters on the issues that are crucial to the success of small business, like tax cuts, regulatory reform, and lower healthcare costs. They are the representatives small business owners can count on as advocates in Washington, and we’re proud to award these lawmakers the recognition they earned for the 115th Congress.”
