WASHINGTON – Congressman James Comer (KY-01) honored Wendy Davis-Wilson, Jeff and Benita Davis and Brooke Kelly of Carlisle County, Kentucky for their efforts to aid and promote adoption during a speech on the floor of the US House of Representatives Thursday morning.

The Davis Family was nominated by Congressman Comer to be a 2017 Angels in Adoption honoree by the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute (CCAI) for their work in founding the charity organization, Hope that Binds.  The organization assists families wishing to adopt both domestically and internationally with various services, including financial assistance and counseling. The Davis Family traveled to Washington this week to participate in CCAI’s Angel in Adoption program.

“Through Hope That Binds, a network of loving families is growing and expanding constantly. To date, more than 40 families have been assisted through the organization’s fundraisers and grant program,” said Congressman Comer.
