WASHINGTON – Congressman Comer is excited to announce that the First District of Kentucky will be participating in the third annual Congressional App Challenge (CAC), an app competition for students in high school and below.
“I am excited to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education with high school students throughout the First District,” says Congressman Comer. “I am looking forward to all of the submissions that will be made by the best and brightest that the First District has to offer.”
The App challenge will run through November 1st, 2017. The competition is open to all students who meet the basic eligibility requirements, regardless of their coding experience level. All students are encouraged to participate and to learn how to create their own apps. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges and be given Congressional recognition. Their apps will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C., on house.gov, and on the Congressional App Challenge Website.
