Information on Inauguration 2025

On Monday, January 20, 2025 the 60th Presidential Inauguration will take place at the United States Capitol.  The inauguration, which consists of the swearing-in ceremony and the inaugural address, is a ticketed event open to the public.  Since George Washington in 1789, every President has delivered an Inaugural address, ranging from 8,445 words to just 135.  The ceremony will be hosted by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC).

If you are from Kentucky and your group is interested in participating in the 2025 Presidential Inaugural Parade, please find more information and apply at https://inauguralparade.smapply.net.

While we are currently awaiting further information from the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies regarding ticket allotments, we will be pleased to offer a limited number of tickets to the residents of Kentucky's First Congressional District to attend the inauguration.  For those interested in applying to enter the lottery for tickets, please fill out the form below.

Please make sure you include the first and last name of all members in your group as well as the city in Kentucky each person is currently residing in when submitting the list of the people in your group.

If you have any questions please email Jason.Tyler@mail.house.gov.

Please only submit one request per group.  It is not needed to submit a separate request for each person in your group.  Multiple requests will be consolidated.
