TOMPKINSVILLE, KY – Today, Congressman James Comer (R-Ky.) is proud to announce Macy Gentry of Christian County High School as the winner of Kentucky's 1st Congressional District's 2022 Congressional Art Competition. Gentry’s charcoal composition is titled ‘Horse and Jockey’ and will hang in the U.S. Capitol.

Leslie Valles, also of Christian County High School, came in second place with her photograph titled ‘Desert Road.’ 

Madison Latham, also of Christian County High School, came in third place with her photograph titled ‘Always Faithful.’ Their impressive work will be on display in Congressman James Comer's Washington, D.C. Office.

"Congratulations to Macy, Leslie, and Madison on their outstanding submissions. The 2022 Congressional Art Competition included many excellent submissions from the 1st District. I am proud to select these pieces and place them on full display in the U.S. Capitol and my Washington, D.C. office," said Congressman James Comer.
