WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman James Comer (KY-01) has announced that Conner Lindsey, a homeschooled student from Paducah, is the winner of the 2020 1st District Congressional App Challenge.

Lindsey developed the winning app titled “Mojo Companion,” which compliments a mobile game he developed and includes features to improve the user gaming experience. He will be graduating in May of 2021.

“I want to congratulate Conner for using his creativity, intelligence, and work ethic to earn this outstanding achievement,” Congressman Comer said. “Conner is one of the best and brightest young minds in the 1st District, and I am confident that his interest in technology and unique expertise in coding can lay the groundwork for a successful career.”

The Congressional App Challenge was created to help promote student interest in STEM skills, specifically computer science and coding. The competition is open to students in grades 6th through 12th across the 1st District. For more information on the competition, you can visit comer.house.gov.
